  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for flavor depth)
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels, then crumble.
  2. If using onions, sauté them in a little bacon fat until soft and golden.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Grease a 9-inch pie dish or round baking dish.
