- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 recommended for juiciness)
- 1 egg (binder)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cubes of cheddar or mozzarella (for molten center)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional, for crusty top)
- BBQ sauce or ketchup (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into mini cake shapes.
- Press a cube of cheddar or mozzarella into the center of each mini cake.
- Place the cakes on a baking sheet and bake for 30–35 minutes.
- Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top before baking for a crusty finish.
- Serve with BBQ sauce or ketchup.
Notes
- For best results, use 80/20 ground beef for juiciness.
- Adjust seasoning according to taste.
