Description

Cheesy Crispy Beef Bombs are delicious, bite-sized treats filled with gooey cheese and seasoned ground beef, perfect for parties or a tasty snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g (1 lb) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 150 g (5 oz) cheddar or mozzarella cheese (cut into cubes)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil, for deep frying
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  2. Add ground beef, smoked paprika, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
  3. Let cool slightly, then mash together to form a moldable mixture.
  4. Take a scoop of beef mixture and flatten in your hand.
  5. Place a cube of cheese in the center.
  6. Shape into a ball, sealing the cheese inside. Repeat with remaining beef.
  7. Roll each beef bomb in flour.
  8. Dip into beaten eggs.
  9. Roll in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  10. Heat oil to 175°C (350°F).
  11. Fry beef bombs in batches for 3–4 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
  12. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  13. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  14. Serve hot — when cut open, the cheese should ooze out deliciously.

Notes

  • Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to achieve a crispy texture.
