Description

Delicious cheesy chicken wraps made with tender chicken and melted cheese, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 low-carb tortillas or lettuce wraps
  • Fresh spinach or lettuce
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Avocado slices
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink inside and cooked through. This usually takes about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Add the Flavor: Stir in the minced garlic (or garlic powder), Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Melt the Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the cooked chicken. Stir gently until the cheese is melted and gooey, coating the chicken beautifully.
  4. Warm the Tortillas: Briefly warm the tortillas. You can do this by placing them one at a time in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds per side, or wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for about 20-30 seconds. This makes them nice and pliable.
  5. Assemble the Wraps: Lay a warm tortilla flat. Spoon about a quarter of the cheesy chicken mixture down the center. Add any optional toppings like lettuce or tomatoes.
  6. Roll ‘Em Up! Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up snugly from the bottom.
