Delicious and easy-to-make cheesy ham puffs that can be prepared in just 20 minutes using one bowl.

- 1½ cups (180 g) Bisquick or self-rising flour
- 1½ cups (150 g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1½–2 cups (225–300 g) finely diced cooked ham
- ¾ cup (180 ml) milk or buttermilk
- Optional for garnish: Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine Bisquick (or self-rising flour), shredded cheddar cheese, and diced ham.
- Pour in milk or buttermilk and stir until the mixture just comes together. Avoid overmixing.
- Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, drop rounded mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the puffs are golden brown and cooked through.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, consider adding diced jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
- These puffs can be frozen before baking; just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
