Description

A delicious and creamy Cheesy Spinach & Garlic Bread Boat Dip, perfect for sharing and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large crusty loaf (French bread or sourdough)
  • 1 ½ cups (200g) shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded parmesan
  • 1 cup (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream or milk
  • 3 cups fresh spinach, chopped (or 1 cup frozen, thawed & drained well)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: chili flakes for a little heat

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the top off the bread loaf and carefully hollow out the center to form a “boat.” Save the bread pieces for dipping later.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté the garlic for 1 minute. Add spinach and cook until wilted. (If using frozen, skip to next step.)
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, mozzarella, parmesan, spinach & garlic mixture, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the bread boat. Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top (for browning).
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley. Cut into slices or tear and dip. Serve hot — it will be gooey, melty, and irresistible.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, add chili flakes.
  • Use fresh spinach for the best flavor.
  • Leftover bread can be used for dipping.
