Description
A delicious and creamy Cheesy Spinach & Garlic Bread Boat Dip, perfect for sharing and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large crusty loaf (French bread or sourdough)
- 1 ½ cups (200g) shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup (100g) shredded parmesan
- 1 cup (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream or milk
- 3 cups fresh spinach, chopped (or 1 cup frozen, thawed & drained well)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- Optional: chili flakes for a little heat
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the top off the bread loaf and carefully hollow out the center to form a “boat.” Save the bread pieces for dipping later.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté the garlic for 1 minute. Add spinach and cook until wilted. (If using frozen, skip to next step.)
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, mozzarella, parmesan, spinach & garlic mixture, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon the mixture into the bread boat. Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top (for browning).
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley. Cut into slices or tear and dip. Serve hot — it will be gooey, melty, and irresistible.
Notes
- For a spicier dip, add chili flakes.
- Use fresh spinach for the best flavor.
- Leftover bread can be used for dipping.
