Description

Deliciously sweet and creamy bars made with a buttery crescent roll crust, a rich cream cheese filling, and a cinnamon sugar topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (8 oz / 225 g each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 oz / 225 g each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the pan, pinching seams together to form one solid layer.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy, then spread the mixture evenly over the crescent dough layer.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent dough and carefully lay it over the cream cheese layer, then pour melted butter evenly over the top.
  5. Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl and generously sprinkle over the top buttery layer.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and slightly puffed. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
