Description
Deliciously sweet and creamy bars made with a buttery crescent roll crust, a rich cream cheese filling, and a cinnamon sugar topping.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans (8 oz / 225 g each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 packages (8 oz / 225 g each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the pan, pinching seams together to form one solid layer.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy, then spread the mixture evenly over the crescent dough layer.
- Unroll the second can of crescent dough and carefully lay it over the cream cheese layer, then pour melted butter evenly over the top.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl and generously sprinkle over the top buttery layer.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and slightly puffed. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
- Let the bars cool completely for cleaner cuts.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
