Description

A delicious and easy-to-make copycat recipe for LongHorn’s Parmesan Crusted Chicken, featuring a flavorful chicken breast topped with a creamy cheese mixture and crispy breadcrumbs.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded Provolone cheese (or mozzarella if you prefer)
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness.
  3. Rub them with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Grill or pan-sear the chicken for about 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C). Transfer to a baking dish.
  5. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Parmesan, Provolone, cheddar, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth.
  6. In a separate small bowl, stir together panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, and Parmesan until well coated.
  7. Spread a layer of the cheese mixture on top of each chicken breast.
  8. Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  9. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
  10. If needed, broil for 1–2 minutes for extra crunch.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or pasta.
