- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon, divided
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, honey, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Add the brown sugar, flour, salt, and ground cinnamon. Stir until combined.
- Shape dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with granulated sugar and additional cinnamon.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
Notes
- Make sure to let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- For extra flavor, consider adding nuts or chocolate chips to the dough.
