Description
Dark Chocolate Raspberry Bombs are a delightful treat combining rich dark chocolate and fresh raspberries for a burst of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200 g (7 oz) good-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa recommended)
- 24 fresh raspberries (about 2 per bomb)
- 2 tsp raspberry jam (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1 tsp coconut oil (for smooth melting)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chocolate Shells: Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil in a double boiler or microwave (in 20-second intervals, stirring each time). Pour a spoonful of melted chocolate into silicone half-sphere molds. Use the back of a spoon or pastry brush to coat the inside evenly. Chill for 5–10 minutes, then repeat with a second coat for sturdiness. Refrigerate until set.
- Fill the Centers: Place 2 fresh raspberries inside each half-sphere. If desired, add a small drop of raspberry jam for an extra burst of flavor.
- Seal the Bombs: Warm a plate slightly. Press an empty chocolate half briefly on the plate to melt the edge. Attach it to a filled half-sphere, sealing the bomb. Smooth edges with a little extra melted chocolate if needed.
- Final Touch: Let the bombs chill for 10 minutes to set completely. Serve at room temperature for a luscious bite with a juicy raspberry surprise inside.
Notes
- Ensure the chocolate is of good quality for the best flavor.
- Adjust the amount of raspberry jam based on your sweetness preference.
- Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
