- 1 cup warm water
- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup pizza sauce (or ketchup/mustard blend for burger flavor)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Dill pickle slices
- Ketchup & mustard for drizzling
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yeast, warm water, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 min until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead until smooth (about 8 minutes).
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add ground beef and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until browned and crumbly. Drain excess fat.
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll dough into a large round or rectangular pizza base.
- Spread with pizza sauce (or a ketchup/mustard mix for an authentic burger twist).
- Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Add cooked beef evenly on top.
- Scatter pickle slices across the pizza.
- Add another sprinkle of cheese if desired.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with ketchup and mustard in zigzag lines.
- Slice and serve hot — it’s like a cheeseburger and pizza combined!
