Delicious Ham & Gouda Puff Pastry Muffins topped with a tangy Dijon glaze, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup diced ham (about 150 g)
- 1 cup shredded Gouda cheese (or cubes, about 120 g)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup for a twist)
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Grease a muffin tin or line with parchment squares.
- Roll out puff pastry sheet slightly on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 6–8 squares.
- Press each puff pastry square gently into the muffin tin, letting the edges hang over slightly.
- Fill with diced ham and shredded/cubed Gouda cheese.
- Sprinkle parsley if desired.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, until pastry is puffed and golden brown, and cheese is bubbling.
- While muffins bake, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, melted butter, and garlic powder.
- Once out of the oven, brush muffins lightly with Dijon glaze while still warm.
- Serve hot, with extra glaze on the side for dipping.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit the ham and add more cheese or vegetables.
- These muffins can be made ahead and reheated in the oven.
