Description

This delicious oatmeal recipe features Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, walnuts, and raisins for a wholesome breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 5 3/4 cups water
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Bring water and salt to a rolling boil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Stir in oats, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until liquid is absorbed.
  3. Remove from the heat and add the remaining ingredients. Stir until well combined. Serve hot.
