Delicious homemade cheesy garlic breadsticks that are easy to make and perfect for sharing.
Ingredients

- 2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water (40–45°C)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried parsley (plus fresh parsley for garnish)
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Knead dough for 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, oregano, parsley, and salt. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll dough into a rectangle (about 9×13 inches). Place on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Brush with garlic butter mixture.
- Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Cut into breadsticks while warm.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with marinara or ranch dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
- These breadsticks are best served warm.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
