Description

A delicious and quick recipe for garlic butter steak bites served with creamy Parmesan rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak (well-marbled)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the steak into bite-sized pieces and mincing the garlic.
  2. Cook the rice by bringing chicken broth and rice to a boil in a medium pot, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Reduce heat and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, stirring until fragrant.
  5. Return steak bites to the skillet, tossing in the garlic butter sauce for about one minute.
  6. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork, mix in grated Parmesan cheese until melted, and serve warm alongside steak bites.
