This creamy garlic chicken with mushrooms is a delicious and easy recipe, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)
  • 8 oz fresh button or cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown on both sides (5-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and mushrooms until browned (5-6 minutes).
  4. Add chicken broth and soy sauce; scrape any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes before stirring in heavy cream.
