Description
A delicious and refreshing strawberry milk drink made with fresh or frozen strawberries, perfect for warm days!
Ingredients

- 200 grams whole strawberries (fresh or frozen, rinsed)
- ΒΌ cup granulated white sugar
- 100 grams chopped fresh strawberries (cut into 1 cm pieces, divided)
- 2 cups chilled milk (whole milk or vegan milk like soy milk, coconut milk etc)
Instructions
- Rinse strawberries and chop off their top leafy part.
- Note β If using frozen strawberries, then thaw them to room temperature.
- Add the strawberries to a blender and blend to make a smooth puree.
- Add the strawberry puree, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of chopped strawberries to a pan and cook on medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Reduce the heat to low and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture come down to room temperature.
- Refrigerate the strawberry syrup for 1-2 hours until it is chilled.
- Take 2 16-ounce (500 ml) glasses and divide the cooled strawberry syrup between each glass.
- Swirl it up and around the glass to make a pattern.
- Add 2 tbsp of chopped strawberries to each glass.
- Now pour 1 cup of chilled milk of your choice into each glass and serve immediately with a stirrer.
- Stir well before sipping.
- Note β You can top the drink with some whipped cream or ice cream. You can also add a few ice cubes to the glasses.
