Description

Bright, fresh, creamy, and stunning—these bite-size treats are perfect for parties or elegant dessert platters.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large fresh strawberries
  • 12 fresh blueberries (for topping)
  • Zest of 1 lemon (fine strands)
  • 120 g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 23 tbsp heavy cream (to adjust texture)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and dry strawberries well. Slice off the green top so each berry can stand upright. Using a small knife, make two deep cross-cuts from the top down, creating 4 “petals”—but don’t cut all the way through. Gently open the cuts with your fingers to form blossom shapes.
  2. Make the Lemon Cream: In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla. Add 2–3 tbsp heavy cream and beat until fluffy and pipeable. Transfer the cream to a piping bag (or a zip bag with the tip cut).
  3. Assemble: Pipe lemon cream into the center of each strawberry blossom so it gently fills the “petals.” Sprinkle with extra lemon zest. Top each with one fresh blueberry. Chill 10–15 minutes before serving for the best texture.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh strawberries and blueberries.
  • Adjust the amount of heavy cream based on desired texture of the lemon cream.
  • Chilling the assembled blossoms enhances the flavor and texture.
