Description

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin on, about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the dish, pat them dry with paper towels, and let them sit for about 15 minutes to come to room temperature.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the garlic-lemon mixture evenly over the tops and sides of each salmon fillet, making sure they are fully coated.
  5. Bake for 12–20 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets. The salmon should flake easily with a fork or reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  6. Allow it to rest for 3 minutes after removing from the oven.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and fresh lemon wedges if desired.
