Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  2. Melt butter and chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted chocolate mixture until glossy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until thick and well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gently fold dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
