Ingredients
Scale
- 24 bite-size cooked meatballs
- 1 lb pizza dough or 2 tubes crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or dried oregano/basil mix)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Warm marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza or crescent dough into a rectangle. Cut into thin strips, about 1 inch wide.
- Thread a strip of dough onto a skewer, then a meatball, folding the dough back and forth between each meatball. Continue until you have 3–4 meatballs per skewer, ending with dough wrapped around the top.
- Place skewers on the prepared baking sheet, spacing slightly apart.
- Brush with melted butter, then sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, mozzarella/provolone, and Parmesan over the skewers.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm with marinara dipping sauce.
Notes
- Feel free to use any type of cheese you prefer.
- These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Adjust the number of meatballs per skewer based on your preference.
