Description

Delicious cheesy garlic rolls made with King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, perfect as a side or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded or thinly sliced cheese (e.g., sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slice the rolls horizontally and spread the garlic butter mixture inside.
  4. Layer the cheese in between the rolls.
  5. Wrap the rolls in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until heated through and cheese is melty.

Notes

  • These rolls are best served warm.
  • You can substitute any cheese of your choice.
