Description

Nana’s Berry Bliss Frozen Fruit Salad is a delightful and refreshing dessert that combines a variety of berries and a creamy base, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (20 oz / 565 g) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup blackberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 banana, sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional, for fluffiness)
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip) or freshly whipped cream
  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt (adds creaminess & tang)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix whipped topping, sour cream (or yogurt), powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Gently fold in crushed pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, banana slices, and marshmallows (if using). Mix until evenly coated with the creamy base.
  3. Transfer mixture into a glass dish or loaf pan. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours (overnight for firmer texture).
  4. Remove from freezer about 15 minutes before serving for easier scooping. Garnish with extra berries on top.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of powdered sugar.
  • For a healthier option, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
  • This salad can be made a day in advance for convenience.
