Description

A delicious baked sushi rice casserole with imitation crab and cream cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 ½ cups shredded imitation crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 4 nori sheets, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear. Cook according to package instructions and stir in rice vinegar while warm.
  2. In a bowl, combine imitation crab meat, cream cheese, half of the green onions, and soy sauce to taste.
  3. Spread the cooked rice in a greased baking dish. Layer the crab mixture on top and sprinkle with chopped nori.
  4. Drizzle with soy sauce and Sriracha.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Let cool slightly before garnishing with remaining green onions.
