These Spicy Breakfast Sausage Balls are a delicious and easy appetizer perfect for any gathering or breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound spicy breakfast sausage, uncooked
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10-ounce) can Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies, well drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose baking mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked sausage, softened cream cheese, well-drained Rotel, shredded cheddar cheese, and baking mix.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  5. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through. Serve warm.

Notes
