Description

A delicious and easy Pizza Bake recipe combining turkey Italian sausage, cheese wraps, and pepperoni!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 19 oz. pkg. turkey Italian sausage
  • 1 13 oz. jar Rao’s Pizza Sauce
  • 5 Folios Parmesan Cheese Wraps
  • 2 cups grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 42 slices Hormel 25% reduced fat pepperoni
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano, divided

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 425F/220C. Spray a 9″ X 13″ baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan and cook the Italian Sausage until it’s nicely browned.
  3. Add the Rao’s Pizza Sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes, until the sauce has slightly thickened and sausage is flavored.
  4. Cut 5 Folios Cheese Wraps in half and arrange with the straight side along the edge of the baking dish and one cut piece covering the middle.
  5. Spread half the sausage/sauce mixture over the Folios.
  6. Top that with 1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese.
  7. Top with 21 pieces of pepperoni and a pinch of dried oregano.
  8. Make another layer of Folios, sausage/sauce mixture, cheese, pepperoni, and Greek Oregano.
  9. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and the Pizza Bake is bubbling hot and nicely browned.
  10. Serve the Pizza Bake hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Using a metal baking dish works well, but glass or ceramic will also work.
  • If your baking dish isn’t close to the size used, you may need more Folios or low-carb tortillas.
