Description

These fluffy rolls combine warm dough, gooey chocolate, and toasted marshmallows… just like a campfire s’more but in cinnamon-roll form!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ½ cups (440g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (240ml) warm milk
  • ¼ cup (50g) sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 packet (7g) instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup (60g) softened butter
  • 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
  • ½ cup (120g) creamy chocolate spread (Nutella-style)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows OR 1 cup marshmallow fluff

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let stand 5 minutes until slightly foamy.
  2. Add egg, softened butter, salt, and mix.
  3. Add flour gradually and knead until a soft dough forms (5–7 minutes).
  4. Cover the bowl and let rise 1 to 1.5 hours, until doubled in size.
  5. Mix melted butter with chocolate spread. Set chocolate chips aside.
  6. Roll the dough into a large rectangle (about 40×30 cm). Spread the chocolate mixture evenly. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  7. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 8–10 rolls. Place rolls into a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 20–25 minutes, until lightly golden.
  9. Option 1 — Spread a thick layer of fluff over the warm rolls and torch until golden.
  10. Option 2 — Add a generous layer of mini marshmallows on top and return the dish to the oven and broil for 1–2 minutes, watching closely so they don’t burn!
