- 100 g brown sugar
- 50 g white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 120 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 150 g rolled oats (fine oats preferred)
- 80 g white chocolate (muzzle + ears)

Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the butter + brown sugar + white sugar until creamy.
- Add the egg + vanilla, mix well.
- Add flour + baking powder + salt.
- Add the oats and stir to combine.
- Chill the dough 20 minutes (helps cookies stay thick and soft).
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- Scoop small balls of dough and flatten slightly into round cookies.
- For ears, place two tiny dough balls on the top edge of each cookie.
- Space cookies well (they spread).
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Leave to cool completely on the tray (soft cookies firm as they cool).
- Melt the white chocolate and pipe a large oval for the mouth area in the center and small dots on each ear.
- Melt the dark chocolate and pipe two small dots for eyes, one larger dot for the nose, and two curved lines for the smile on the muzzle.
- Let the chocolate set (10–15 minutes) before serving.
Notes
- Fine oats are preferred for a smoother texture.
- Chilling the dough is crucial for maintaining the cookie shape.
- Decorate cookies after they have cooled completely for best results.
