- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- ½ cup (120 ml) strawberry jam or preserves
- Fresh strawberry slices for garnish
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Spread batter evenly in pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely, then cut into even squares for stacking.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
- Whip heavy cream separately until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture to make a light, fluffy filling.
- Spread a layer of cream filling over one brownie square.
- Add a spoonful of strawberry jam and a few slices of fresh strawberries.
- Top with another brownie square and repeat layers as desired.
- Finish with cream, strawberries, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
