Description

A delicious and refreshing strawberry cake perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box Strawberry Cake Mix (plus ingredients on package to prepare)
  • 10 ounces Frozen Strawberries (thawed)
  • 1 box Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix (3 ounces)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 cups Whipped Topping
  • Fresh Strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 13×9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions, then bake and allow to cool completely.
  3. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes about 1 inch apart all over the cake.
  4. Puree the thawed strawberries in a blender, then spoon the mixture evenly over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.
  5. In a medium bowl, prepare the pudding mix with 1 cup of milk. Fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.
  6. Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  7. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Slice, serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure the cake is completely cooled before adding the strawberry puree.
  • For a richer flavor, consider using homemade whipped cream instead of pre-made whipped topping.
