Ingredients

  • Cold milk – 4 cups
  • Whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade) – 3 cups
  • Graham crackers or shortbread cookies – 2 cups, crushed
  • Cream cheese – 8 oz, softened
  • Powdered sugar – ½ cup
  • Lemon zest – 1 tbsp
  • Fresh lemon slices – for garnish
  • Whipped cream – for topping

Instructions

  1. Whisk lemon pudding mixes with cold milk until thickened. Refrigerate 5 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup whipped topping.
  3. In a large trifle dish, start with cookie crumbs at the bottom.
  4. Add cream cheese layer.
  5. Spread lemon pudding.
  6. Repeat until dish is filled.
  7. Pipe or spread whipped cream on top.
  8. Garnish with lemon zest, slices, and extra cookie crumbs.
  9. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving for best flavor and texture.
