Ingredients
- Lemon pudding mix – 2 boxes (3.4 oz each)
- Cold milk – 4 cups
- Whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade) – 3 cups
- Graham crackers or shortbread cookies – 2 cups, crushed
- Cream cheese – 8 oz, softened
- Powdered sugar – ½ cup
- Lemon zest – 1 tbsp
- Fresh lemon slices – for garnish
- Whipped cream – for topping
Instructions
- Whisk lemon pudding mixes with cold milk until thickened. Refrigerate 5 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup whipped topping.
- In a large trifle dish, start with cookie crumbs at the bottom.
- Add cream cheese layer.
- Spread lemon pudding.
- Repeat until dish is filled.
- Pipe or spread whipped cream on top.
- Garnish with lemon zest, slices, and extra cookie crumbs.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving for best flavor and texture.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
- Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
