Tiramisu Domes are a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert, featuring layers of coffee-soaked sponge and rich mascarpone cream, all elegantly shaped into dome forms.

- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- ½ cup strong espresso (cooled)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1 ½ cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup dark chocolate, chopped
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Cocoa powder (for decoration)
- Dark chocolate shavings (for decoration)
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Beat eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Sift in flour and cocoa powder, fold gently.
- Spread onto a lined baking sheet, bake for 10–12 min. Cool, then cut circles to fit the dome molds.
- Mix espresso, sugar, and coffee liqueur. Brush sponge circles lightly with syrup.
- Whip cold cream to soft peaks.
- In another bowl, beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold whipped cream into mascarpone until silky.
- Fill dome molds halfway with mascarpone cream.
- Add a small spoonful of ganache or cocoa-dusted cream center if desired.
- Place a soaked sponge circle on top, pressing gently.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Unmold domes carefully.
- Top with chocolate ganache drizzle, cocoa powder, and chocolate shavings.
- Dust lightly with powdered sugar for elegance.
Notes
- Ensure the heavy cream is cold for better whipping.
- For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the amount of coffee liqueur.
- These domes can be made a day in advance for best results.
