Creamy, tangy, and dusted in powdered sugar — these melt-in-your-mouth lemon truffles are as easy as they are irresistible.
Ingredients
- White chocolate – 8 oz (225 g), chopped
- Heavy cream – ½ cup
- Fresh lemon juice – 2 tbsp
- Fresh lemon zest – 1 tsp
- Powdered sugar – ½ cup, for rolling
Instructions
- In a heatproof bowl, add chopped white chocolate.
- Heat cream until steaming (not boiling), then pour over chocolate. Stir until smooth.
- Mix in lemon juice and zest until creamy and fully combined.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours, until mixture is firm enough to scoop.
- Scoop spoonfuls of mixture, roll into balls, and coat in powdered sugar.
- Garnish with extra lemon zest and enjoy chilled!
Notes
- Ensure the cream is hot but not boiling to avoid seizing the chocolate.
- For a stronger lemon flavor, adjust the amount of lemon juice and zest to taste.
