Description
A delicious toast topped with heirloom tomatoes, creamy burrata, and avocado.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 medium heirloom tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt, as needed
- Freshly ground black pepper, as needed
- 4 slices sourdough bread, cut ½” thick
- 4 ounces burrata
- 1 medium Haas avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced
- Handful watercress leaves
Instructions
- Drizzle the tomato slices with olive oil then season with salt and pepper. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a large griddle or grill over medium-high heat. Add the slices of bread and cook until grill marks appear, about 1 minute. Flip and cook for an additional minute.
- Top each slice with burrata followed by tomato slices, avocado and watercress. Slice each toast in half.

- Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
